Do your children have different personalities based on who you married, or at least by their gender? And can you choose your child's gender?

You can have a girl or boy. xD Their personalities are all the same though.
Saving and reloading does the trick to choose its gender.

I think the hair colour *might* vary? Not sure.

Aw, so it's pretty much the same? Ah well. XD

....Considering that I cannot get the idea of the girl looking a tad too much like Anemone, it's very possible I'll go for the boy, too. Unless I marry Anemone, but I'm leaning towards Enju, Freya, or Kage.

Since there have been so many past Harvest Moon games in which only a boy could be had, I usually go for girls nowadays.
