I already have a « Baaaa *glomp* » phone strap on my PSP of Disgaea's Flonne. No alpacas needed here.

My phone already has too much on it.
A stylus, a bunch of couple chains and random things that I bought out of impulse. ;w;''

All my phone charms are broken. D: So now it has nothing on it.

Maybe I'll look and see if I can find any HM phone charms. :3

Well I could start off with the constant glitches, push-backs, sub par translation quality, and overall bad writing. Considering that Harvest Moon is the cash cow of the company it wouldn't kill them to put I dunno, a little more effort into their product. Perhaps hire a few more employees on the debugging team. I'm not asking them to kill themselves like Xseed did with RFF, if it takes them longer I'd be happy with a nice polished product. Actually, there are some translators which will rid glitches and bugs in the Japanese version of the game but I'm not even asking for that much.

Then we have them trying NOT to offend people which is rather unavoidable when they change a part of the game itself. Such as the DSCute, sure some families would get upset over a child being best friends but for them to say they changed it because it implied a lesbian relationship is a... rather nice way for Natsume to treat their LGBT audience. Then we have the changing of Zann's skin color, so that he isn't an African color anymore. They claim it on they were trying to avoid a stereotype. Tell me Won isn't a racial stereotype. Either way it's lose-lose. They either look racist or they leave yet another racial stereotype. Instead of having the, "We're imply translators" argument they leave a glaring hole in their excuse WHICH they seemed to just pick up on when fans were creating excuses for them.

Then we of course have the wi-fi feature which was taken out of AP and SI. AP had a good reason, they lack a decent debugging team that is fairly obvious by now. But I don't recall SI having any problems. I'd take a guess they just wanted SI out before AP so they decided to take it out. I don't have any concrete proof but I've yet to see a reason yet.

Then I'm sure many people remember the Calvin glitch pretty well. To leave SUCH a huge bug in their games is... just unprofessional and downright outrageous. I didn't want to marry him thankfully but it certainly did not leave me with a good taste in my mouth.

Meanwhile Rising Star doesn't just do obscure games with a small team. They work on actual larger titles which makes them look far more reliable and look as though they can do a much more solid title. The wait may be hard, but for a good solid and polished copy of the game isn't it worth it?

I'm planning to buy this. But I'm not sure if I'm going to buy it right away. I don't know if Gamestop have a franchise here in our country, so I might not be able to get any freebies.

I probably will get it, though not right away. I don't have the money to buy a new game right now, and I don't see me having any more money in the near future.

I'll probably get it. Probably not right after it comes out or anything, but maybe a couple months or a half a year later.
I still don't have my AP (- 3 -) I'm at least getting that one first before I buy any more Harvest Moon games.

you make good points. its kinda easy to forget all that in the rush of having a new hm game released~
i guess ive never heard enough about rising stars releases, whether they were better or worse than natsumes.
also ive never imported a game xD
i was hoping theyd skip this game and go straight to twin, cause i didnt think theyd wanna mess with the wifi and blah blah blah. so waiting to see is rising releases isnt that big of a deal for me....

It comes out the day after my birthday, which is kind of inconvenient but, I will have money from my birthday to buy it. ;P I'll get it for sure, though! I mean, how can you pass up on a HM game? <3 Not pre-ordering it, though. (Even though the horsey is really cute. >_>')

I've never imported a game either, but since handhelds aren't region locked it shouldn't be that much of a hassle. ;P

If you live in Europe, you can import the games from Videogamesplus, VideoGamesCentral or Play_Asia.

Gamestop ships the games to Europe too, but you must pay a bunch of money for the shipping.

I've made an order to have a copy imported. It better be worth the extra $36.00 to ship it over to UK, it's so much more than the game itself.

@Peasu: Yeah, and not many people seem to really care how bad of a job Natsume does. I mean, even after DS people just shrugged their shoulders it seemed even if they nowadays still complain about the glitches. Ah well. xD It's their money and they can support whomever they want. Natsume probably get to Twin Villages after Grand Bazaar though since I think they've got everything else done now though.
