Waffle Town vs. Harmonica Town

I haven't played AP yet, so I don't really know whether or not I'd prefer Harmonica Town.

What about you? Which one do you like more? Feel free to explain.

I really liked Waffle Town....I thought the layout was nice. It felt very..."towny". I do wish it had been bigger, though. Oh well.

Wow, that's tough!

I like how Harmonica Town has a lot of new cool locales: an actually semi-functioning school, a photo studio, a mine, the Wizard's heart-reading place (I know it's his house, but it might as well be a fortune-telling shop)...

I think the Waffle Town Hall was nicer. The Town Square was nice, too, and a good setting for festivals, although ToT's Town Square festivals weren't very exciting.
But I like the Church better in Harmonica - very pretty.

Both towns are good in that they connect to a lot of other areas of the island: in Harmonica's case, to the Farmland and to the Church / Garmon mine cart; in Waffle's case, to the Farmland and to the Maple Lake District (with multiple paths to each = bonus!); in both cases, the pier to Toucan Island.
But the placement of Waffle Town's pier is more convenient (closer to your house), rather than Harmonica's pier at the far end of everything. Also, riding the boat was FREE in Waffle Town... xP;

Harmonica Town's multiple levels of buildings that you have to climb stairs to access are kind of weird when I think about it; Waffle's layout made more sense.
Harmonica Town from afar looks all cute and pastelly, almost like some kind of dollhouse, which I guess I like, but then Waffle Town's more subdued yet still colorful design is probably more believable and maybe more overall "towny." Also, if you look closely in the game, Harmonica Town buildings sometimes have these ripped/faded posters on them. I don't usually mind them too much seems like a weird reverse-final-touch, making the place look LESS cutesy and homey...

I don't know what to pick; I happen to like AP overall better than ToT, so I'd probably say I'd rather live in Harmonica Town... But then, Waffle Town does have a lot of advantages.

I like Harmonica town more. It's more colorful and I love how it's got all those levels. However, I like the size of Waffle Island better; it takes too long to get around Castanet.

I'd pick Harmonica town. The shops and layout is creative. c: I like Waffle Town's simpleness, but Harmonica is bigger and looks cooler. |D

That is a hard one. RayofHope summed up pretty well between the two of them. Only I like ToT more than I do AP I think I have to choose Harmonica town just because I love how it looks like a sea side village, and has all those neat rooftop areas to just relax in.

Harmonica Town's design had a lot of thought put into it, also how it's very different from any town-like atmosphere in games. That's a big big plus for me. Very Mediterranean.

Waffle Town was full of color, nature, and life. Meanwhile Harmonica seemed to just have everything shoved and bunched up together to make some sort of one stop shopping experience and it just... wasn't all that pretty. So I'd say I like Waffle Town more.

Waffle Town for me; but my answer might be somewhat biased. It just made more sense to me, honestly, and felt more organized in a way. S:

The cooler one is Harmonica (when the « Snuggly Bunny » was it called that haha (i no it's right i'm just surprised haha))
But the nicer one is Waffle Town.

Waffle town was cute and "towny". simple and I like simple. So it is nice.


Harmonica Town is « Snuggly Bunny » cool. All the buildings on top of buildings and hillsss. The layout is really new and interesting.
But sometimes when your spacey the stairs will all look the same and you'll wander around confused.

I dunno tho. I guess I'll just pick AP's town, : )

I think that Harmonica Town was more fun and bright. It looked a little like a sea side port town, by a bay and all. I think they really put a coastal, European look on it, whereas Waffle Town reminded me of a small town in Pennsylvania ( you know, minus the ocean.) I think Waffle Town would look better in a valley, anything but sea side. I thought Waffle Town made more sense, and was more overall practical.

Waffle Town
Pros: More practical, convenient, and less of out-of-ones-way-ness. More homey feeling.
Cons: Wasn't as cute as Harmonica Town, didn't have the camera shop, and didn't fit a coastal town feel

Harmonical Town
Pros: Cute, European coastal feel, Fresh Edgy ness
Cons: Wasn't to small town, and was hard to get around without using a mine cart was inpractical,
All around both are awesome

I can honestly say I liked Waffle Town better. It just felt kinda cozy, whereas Harmonica Town reminded me more of an MC Escher painting.
