You do and then you take them to get refine in the store next to the blacksmith.

My luck with Mira and with mining has been strange.
I've managed to get a lot of jewels from wonderful (a lot of diamonds, at that), but very little metal from an unfortunate amount of metal. I've gotten more iron and copper than I know what do with, and a moderate amount of silver, but no more than ten pieces of gold ORE despite excessive mining. I've found more rare ore than gold, and it's useless without the gold! :<

My luck has been on and off :3. If you go on the AP help site it will tell you what are the chances on getting the item

Iron is like 40% success, so I'm pretty sure most things are below that. ;^;

I can a rare bar today and it has a 10% chance :D I was so happy! I have like 4 gold bars, 2 golds, 6 copper, 8 irons :3

Trade you! I seem to be able to find tons of Gold Ore, but only about 1 Rare Ore per expedition. Of course, my luck in getting Gold out of Gold Ore has been pretty bad, too... I took in 90 Gold Ore last time (I save up all season) and got 8 Gold out of it. The game sort of made up for it by giving me 2 Diamonds out of about 30 White Wonderfuls, though.

8 out of 90? @__@ Mira is a greedy biotch, taking all the gold for herself.

It's take me forever to upgrade my house D: I always end up spending them money I make on things ;o; I have never had 25000g on hand o:

House upgrades weren't very difficult for me, meh. Except for the last one. I still haven't gotten it.
