when the heroine can decide their fate....

I just realize the fact that it is possible for the heroine to break up three couples of rival pairings to not EVER marry each other:
1. the heroine must marry kai, and popuri won't EVER get married.
2. since popuri won't marry, rick's orange heart rival event will not trigger and he won't marry karen EVER.
3. don't give cliff the work on the vineyard, and ann won't marry EVER.
well yeah, the heroine can be such a « Baaaa *glomp* » if you want to
anyone have tried/want to try this?
side topic: do you ever feel bad for breaking rival couples OR just ignoring these bunch of pixels "feeling" (if you consider them to have any) and marry them for your own good?

I don't think I'll ever be able to let myself marry Kai because of that. ;~;
I hate the thought of breaking up couples. As a result, I'm nearly in my third year and I'm still unmarried. >.< Kappa isn't human, Gourmet is scary, and Won is greedy as heck. I just test-married Won, and he said to me, "How is the farm doing? You were meant to be a farmer to make so much money." I think he just marries you for your money. ._. Kappa marries you hoping that you'll finally leave him alone.

^Not how marriage is supposed to work Kappa xD
I don't like breaking up couples a lot, but...I usually woo the guy before the rival couple gets too far, anyways. Plus I usually become bff with the girl, and most of my fantasies with MFoMT involve Claire (the heroine) going after said girl in a lesbian funtime *shot*, so. xD
CLAIRE/ELLI FTW *maimed*

I could see that.
Well, Mary seems like the old spinster type anyway, so I'm not too worried for her (Lucky since I've fallen for Gray this time). Ann also is someone I wouldn't worry about... But Popuri, Karen, and Elli I'd feel bad for if I stole their guys.

Yeah I'd just marry whoever I wanted. If you marry Doctor, Elli seems to think she's married to him anyway XD;

I'd actually feel bad about that! I usually get very attached to games, so if I ignore someone I make it up to them by giving them a present.

Funny story about that, I went to woo the Doctor and I was like ah, here's my rival

But I made friends with her. And...the more I visited the clinic...the more excited I was to see the cute brunette nurse, as opposed to the Doctor...and...I kinda just fell for her...the fact that the dialogue didn't change much from the boy version didn't help. xD She is just always so nice and sweet and snuggle-able ;3;

o.O wow. Then Carter will not have job! xD He will just teaching May and Stu about « Mayor Thomas », but he will nly be the pastor when seeing Gray and Doctor's marriage

I did that in FoMT. I accidentally didn't trigger the Purple Rival event for Cliff and Ann. I didn't know I was supposed to do that BEFORE the Wine event. Even though Cliff got to stay, he and Ann still couldn't get married.

Depending on if I like the character or not I feel badly...
But if I like the character a lot, then I end up despising my rivals, it's pretty funny how real and serious I treat it xD However... In FoMT, I didn't realize that I was supposed to give Cliff the job, and he had to leave anyways... By the time I started to focus on MFoMT, I had the sense to quickly check online on how to stop him from leaving on me... I felt so dumb X3

I feel the same. I've married Vaughn in IOH and I feel so bad for Sabrina! She's never going to break free from her controlling father now, so I go see her every day... She tells me how lucky I am to have been married - she once told me she wishes to marry some day...

Since I'm marrying her in my boy file, I don't feel as bad xD
