Huh. I like the name Ivan, but it doesn't seem to suit him, in my opinion.

I think if they were willing to choose a name totally unlike the original they could have thought up something better. Or at least a name they haven't before.

I don't know if Schmidt and Kagetsu are unlocked in the demo at the booth, but Anemone's English name is Daisy.

Daisy, huh? I guess that's okay. It's not great, but not terrible. I liked Anemone better... I don't care much for Dirka's new name either. It makes me think of Tales of Symphonia. XD

I like Daisy a lot better then Dirk.

Even though I HATE Daisy from the Mario series, I like the name Daisy and it seems very fitting for a happy bubbly maid like herself.

I don't see why some people have a big cow with the name Ivan. Sure, Yuri would be better (but I could imagine the endless jokes from animu fans) but at least it's not James or whatever so stop complaining

None of the name changes have been dreadful or like "why the hell did they change 'Joe' to 'Jeribaldiono'"-ish so far (though that happened to RF3's Elisa; Eloise or Elise would be a more obvious substitute than Evelyn).

Anemone --> Daisy makes enough sense because they're both flowers, though Daisy seems more familiar since a lot of people don't know what an anemone is apparently.. (even though you can grow them in HM)

I like Ivan AND Daisy. I think they're both fitting. not my favorite names for them, but when you consider how much worse they could be...

I love the name Daisy =D I'm so glad she has been named like that. This name suits a girl who is jolly, loves sweets and is a little immature. So is perfect for Anemone

Well, since everyone is mentioning what the names remind them of...
Ivan reminds me of Ivan the Terrible.

Though, this Ivan and that Ivan are total opposites. :p
