On the topic of outweighed pricing: If Harvest Moon was realistic in how much farm products were sold for, most players would be dirt poor. If farmers in real life made the amount you do in Harvest Moon they would be filthy rich, lol.

Why can you only see the harvest goddess even if other people are around? The only people who saw it is in SI in the church girls heart event!

Why does every fish look the same except for that their all super sized like you zoomed in for a picture?

Because fishing isn't a very big part of the game so no one really cares, so that's why they don't make different designs for each fish.

Why are girls always so much cuter?

I don't know, but if you're a boy, maybe that's somewhat biased. Since if I'm a girl, I'd say the boys looks better. :U

Why no matter what your character looks the same?

They only make one design.

Nevermind that, what about making her actually look pregnant? They might sometimes comment that their stomachs are bigger and their body feels weird, but you never see it.

The same reason only you can see the Harvest Sprites, and why I'm the only one who can see the machine-gun carrying kangaroo that sits in this chair and quotes Shakespeare when I'm not sitting in it.

As for seeing the Goddess, some games have explained that only those who honestly believe in the existence of the Goddess can see her, and others have explained that only the pure of heart can see her. Not all games have an explanation though.

I got used to the non-Japanese-looking characters in Japanese manga/anime when I was a kid in Japan. My dad's in the golf business and "traded" daughters with his friend over there. I went over there when I was 11, came back when I was 12 and then she came over here for a year. It was frustrating and fun. Captain Harlock is Japanese. Candy from Candy Candy has giant round eyes, blonde hair, and travels all over historical America, and is Japanese. (At least, seen as Japanese by the girls who watch her, as this is how she was explained to me by them. I found it confusing at the time.)

I used to date guys who look like Julius in the late 80s-early 90s. It's why I have so much fun ribbing him for being girly. I got sick of him, but not as much now. The hearts and stars and fashion stuff, I don't like. The guys I dated in my hair-metal days mostly talked about rock & roll, which is how it should be. You kids may not remember it, but Bret Michaels was once a beautiful specimen of manly prettiness. Ozzy famously saw his album cover and "fancied" him til he heard him sing! It's rumored that he's the subject of "Dude Looks Like a Lady". Tons of guys looked like that, and the world was a beautiful place.

My complaint: in Magical Melody, why can the characters appear anywhere at any time? It's like your husband/wife is in your house when you wake up, you go out and back in and they're gone x.o It's weird.

I never really thought that Julius looked like a girl. A transvestite, sure, but not a girl.

Why did they have to change the character's personalities between 64 and BTN?

Why did they choose to make the BTN personalities the ones that get reused even though 90% of people like the ones from 64 better?

They all have amazing reflexes. They may dodge your attacks, but depending on the game it will still make them hate you.

And in the Harvest Moon world, unless you are married, someone hating you is basically them just treating you like you've never met, or that you just moved in. It would be kinda cool to have "negative" heart levels. I guess that's a fair complaint.

The most I have any issue with has to do with the glitches and typos, as well.

Also, though I like the characters that have been used, I sometimes find it irritating that they reuse them over and over in the different games. I do love them, and it's cool to see them in different games as different roles and everything, but I also like when you get to see new characters, and new heart events and personalities and everything. That's basically all I've got a problem with, honestly xD
