I hate the how there's no interaction between the characters...I mean....they can add more events!
I hate how the teleport!
I hate Mary, I mean...GBC2, then 64, BTN, FoMT, MFoMT...and when they realized Mary was enough...they made Sabrina...
I hate how kids don't grow and villagers don't age....
I hate how your hubby don't help with the farm work, or how he don't even give you money from his work...
I hate typos and glitches
:3
But I love HM!

Lack of personalities, stale dialogue (AWL and AnWL do a little better with this, but there's still some monotony), archetypal characters/"personalities", using the term loosely. Oh and you spend all your time giving people gifts, it would be nice to have them give you stuff too once in a while!

I always saw it as a timeskip since they're obviously not going to show you the belly growing, and pregnant women in real life can do many things until they're about 7-8 months in pregnancy before they are suggested bed rest (not that they have to) Pregnant ladies aren't powerless.
Queen Kairi wrote:My only complaint would be from A Wonderful Life/Another Wonderful Life. It bugs me so much that you can see any of the marriage candidates Heart Events even if you are not going for them. So you might wind up going and getting all three to love you without meaning to.

I know that in AWL, if you get two girls up to all hearts and marry one, the other comes and gets angry at you for doing that. It sucks really that you can't keep yourself from the Heart Events then and having them like you because the others will get angry.

I'm pretty sure since AWL is ridiculously realistic in the first place they added this with full intention. You can't control who falls in love with you, even if you make little amount of contact with them (Crushes and admirations by triggering event interactions) so they will be disappointed if not picked and sometimes people just deal with the consequences of it, even if they barely did anything to cause it.
Anonymous Fish wrote:-I agree with the whole Julius thing. When I first saw him, I was CONVINCED that he was a woman. I refused to believe that he was a man. I showed my friends him, and they were also convinced that he was sercretly a woman...either that or he is extremely gay, and hides it by marrying a woman. >_>
You...you know that not all gay men are feminine, right? In fact, the flamboyant/feminine ones are a minority (albeit vocally so) compared to your standard masculine man who are as masculine as his straight counterpart. He may not even like the flamboyant man because it will still remind him of being with a woman or he doesn't want a submissive partner. There's a whole lot of complex stuff to mention about gay dudes but that's a whole 'nother matter in itself and this forum is still viewable for anyone of any age so I can't anyway.
Fabshelly wrote:You kids may not remember it, but Bret Michaels was once a beautiful specimen of manly prettiness. Ozzy famously saw his album cover and "fancied" him til he heard him sing! It's rumored that he's the subject of "Dude Looks Like a Lady". Tons of guys looked like that, and the world was a beautiful place.
looool I'm 18 and know of them. You also forgot to mention Prince who was also manly prettiness and EVERYONE wanted him too. But people call me old inside because I like old things (I love 60s-90s stuff, im more into the middle I.E 70s and 80s. Especially when rock got hilariously feminized with all the rock ballads. I have a soft spot for those.)

I hate how characters only have a few lines of dialogue everyday, it severely decreases my affection for them.
