I think someone should release offline versions of all the game guides. They're super helpful, and I would love to keep a copy on my iPod Touch to carry with me.
Y'know, like when people have a ZIP you can download with a folder that links everywhere, but it's all local on your harddrive? That'd be awesome for UNoT...
(Does anything I've said even make sense? xD )
What about offline versions of all the guides?
It makes sense to me. It would also be easy to do, but possibly take awhile. You would also need to ask the owner to get the files from the server in order for it to be made properly.PurpleHarvestSprite wrote:I think someone should release offline versions of all the game guides. See, that'd be great if, say, it was like an FAQ on GameFAQs or something.WorMzy wrote:Right-click -> Save Page As..
But when you do that you don't get any images (at least on my Mac), and you only get the single page. I do NOT want to have to go through every single UNoT page and have to save it. Plus, I'm not sure if it would be all linked together like it should.
Maybe I need to be clearer on what I mean by "offline version", but I'm not sure how to say it. :/

I have not authorized an off-line version, nor would I approve of a third party having it available for download whereas I no longer have editable control for corrections.

» What is the 10 day rule?
The UNoT forum can be very active, especially during the time period when new Harvest Moon games are released. Topics that have not been replied to in 10 day or longer are considered to be "finish" and no new replies are required. If you bring an old topic back among the active topics, it causes confusion for other users who are trying to get help, especially since topics over 10 days are usually no longer relevant.
If you bump an old topic back to the active list of topics then you will receive a warning. If you continue to reactivate old topics then your account will be banned.
Each post has a last-post time assigned to it. If you are having a difficult time understanding the default time stamp, you can go into your User Control Panel, go to the Board Settings area, and change the My Date Format to something that works better for you.
