Hmm. Should have named them Alejandro, Fernando, and Roberto.
BUT ANYWAY. Yes I prefer the newer designs. Except the lulzy teeth... cause I don't really see a need to change the teeth? Idk, probably just playing it safe, which is smart. Yeah looking at the two compared together, the original Ucho design makes me wanna 'ew'. Might be the big, fat tomato nose.

You know, you can't really consider them racial stereotypes until there are twenty of them and they're all trying to pile into the same little car.
At least one of them should have been named ALFONSO. ALFONSO is the greatest name ever (and no, it can not be spelled any other way: All caps are a must for ALFONSO)

I was pretty indifferent to start with, but I think they look cuter now, so I like it.

I kinda think that the whole stereotype thing is stupid. If you're offended then don't play the game. (that should go for most things.) I think it's stupid that they felt like they had to change the ucho brothers, their goofy look made me smile. Now it's just like "oh ok".

Thomas had a big fat tomato nose. But I see your point there.

I like the new faces. It makes them so
adorable!
The new names are particularly ownsome as well. Honestly, I've never met a Latin American with the name "Fucho." Is it even a Latin American name, or just Japanese gibberish made to
sound Latin American?

None of the 'Ucho names are real names. "Mucho" just means "a lot", "Lucho" is wrestling, and "Fucho" is a made up word. The closest it comes to is "fucha" which is a kiddie expletive (like 'cool' except I've never heard a Mexican use it)

What I'll probably miss is how they're names no longer rhyme. But what I want to see is each brother's full facial sprites. I want to see how they look when happy/angry/etc.

Plus we (hopefully) have gotten rid of what I call IT with IoH. Yay~
Oh, and I think now this "Raul" looks sort of like a mouse. Small, beady eyes, small mouth, etc.

I miss them having their eyes covered. I thought they looked super epic and laid back. :<
All of the other changes are good, though, with the possible exception of the mustache. Now that they have button eyes, I'm going to be imagining them with mouse voices! xD Sad face.

It's ok I guess...
He did look drunk before though...Not sure about how good THAT would have been lol...
But, as has been stated 100 times before, it IS just a game. I do understand that someone
out there would pitch a fit...But why? Really, why?

@Icy: rofl, that response was so funny. 8D
Yeah, Won was so stereotyped, I didn't even like him as a child.

Stereotypes are DNW for child Kim.
The only country Hidekazu doesn't portray negatively is Japan, his country. I stopped following APH when I got to the strips about Korea raping people. Seriously, how hypocritical is it for someone to portray a group of people as rapists and those who take things by force when they were the ones being put in death camps, put into slavery and had their villages pillaged and destroyed by the other country. But again, most Japanese people are ignorant to what the Japanese military's atrocities were in WWII so it possibly it isn't all his fault although he claims to have history.
I think your misunderstanding his portrayal of Japan; he lived in Manhattan the majority of his art career and he hates Asian studies. As in, misinformation was a result of him not caring because he admitted to preferring America and European nations over his own country.
And if you read a good portion of the manga why haven't you noticed his portrayal of the majority of Western hemisphere nations for being ignorant, sexually deviant, or both?
Nonetheless Won's not an issue, but I'm kinda bothered by the fact that the ninja-characters never get much establishment in the Rune Factory series other than that "THEY CAME FROM A FOREIGN PLACE ADUISDSJ =OOO".

I don't think Korea is any worse than the others... he doesn't rape other nations, he claims he invented everything and says that certain things belong to him. France actually does do that kind of thing... and Japan is often portrayed as kind of stiff and experiences culture shock often... not to mention, he's a huge otaku in secret. He did tell England to go into 2-d so "his body wouldn't be sullied, and they're there whenever you want to see them"... and, well, I don't think any nation is portrayed better or worse than another. They're all lovably weird, I think. And I'm almost certain Hidekaz lived or lives in New York, since I've seen that mentioned in several places.
I think they're cuter the new way~ Although I found them funny the old way. I don't really think I can say whether one is better than the other, since they're both really cute. I know for sure that a lot of the people at my school would say, "Completely racist. Ew." if they saw the original, though, so it's most likely a good thing it's been changed.
