I've just recently gotten married to Cliff and here are some strange things I've noticed:

*I somehow activated Doctor's purple heart event (sorry, dude, but I'm taken).
*Gray talks in Japanese letters in when I talk to him in the blacksmith shop
*Rick talks in Japanese letters in his house
*Ann says something along the lines of, "How's your hubby? Tell her I say hi."

Typos and glitches. That's HM for ya lol.

Heh, yeah, things like that are extremely common in Harvest Moon, I'm afraid. You do get used to it, after you play a few different versions for a while. Sometimes they manage to be absolutely hilarious though ;D As for the Doctor's heart event, this is another really strange glitch, and you're bound to find many more occur xD

Glitches like that, aside from the Heart Event one, are usually common in Harvest Moon games, sad to say. You'll get used to it quickly though, and sometimes they are perfect for a good laugh.

Yah i got really irrtated with the Japanese. I really wanted to know what they were saying! Does anybody know?

I love the wrong language glitches. Cx Just imagine walking up to your friends and they just randomly start talking to you in Japanese.

Ahaha! yeah, as my friend knows, I would kill to know how to read japanese just to know what's going on when they have the untranslated scenes xD

I haven't gotten around to getting married yet, do the Japanese glitches happen no matter who you're married to, or Cliff only?

Do they have the German glitch in this game? Can't remember if that was HM4 only...

I think Zach (however you spell it) randomly starts talking in Japanese when he collects your shipments... I'm not sure when it starts, but I'm pretty sure it happens before marriage since I always took forever in wooing the guy I wanted.

But yes, you get used to glitches to the point that you often over look them - especially if they are silly little typos.

I married cliff and the same things happened but then I noticed that when I triggered the rival heart events for rick that he eventually will start speaking english again. I think its because he is now talking about Karen and not Kai.

one I found was when Cliff was in the winery basement, he says "It's all thanks to you, </palyername>"
