Schmidt and Kagetsu's New Names

Since she credits Ushi in that video, I'm guessing she saw the jokes about him being named Sanjaya and took them seriously or she's joking herself.

The name change is more than fitting. Schmidt is a GERMAN SURNAME.

It doesn't sound "Arabic" or "Indian" or what-have-you. It's always been German. I like this place but jeez.

No one said anything (intentionally) about the name "Schmidt" sounding Arabic or Indian. I meant that Schmidt himself looks Arabic (because of his clothes). I'm well aware that Schmidt is a German last name

Fine then, then I guess everyone can agree with me that Schmidt was a terrible name in the first place. I remember looking at the character...then looking at the name and thinking, "0_o I hope Natsume changes that."

Aww, I love the name Schmidt. It is a German-like town so maybe he changed his name to fit it. Idk, but the name still rocks.

I have friends named Dan and Daniel, and if I ever make friends with someone else who goes by Danny, I'll still call him that. Not liking someone's name doesn't make me not like the person (one of my best friends in high school was named Herbert- no joke). I find I only really use a person's name when I'm trying to get their attention, anyway, and I've had more than a few friends who's names I barely learned, or didn't memorize until long after I met them. Unfortunately, video game characters' names are used far far more often

As for Kagetsu's new name... Maybe they'll call her Kaguya or Kagura or something like that
