Should I get this game?

I've heard that a lot of people like this game, and since I've never played it I was wondering if I should get it.

It depends. If you like doing nothing but farming with no connecting plot, than yes. If you hate that, you'll hate this game.

In any case, I find this game to be quite enjoyable. It's not my favorite, but it's definitely one of the best (and I've played all of the ones released in English, provided you don't count ports)

Have you played any other HM games? If you have, it's pretty basic and similar to all of them... but still very basic. If you haven't, I guess it's good to start with...

The first Harvest Moon I ever played was HM:Save the Homeland and this game was my second.
I think this game was fun, but still basic like the others said.
There are a couple more glitches with this game like some of the characters speaking Japanese etc but it's still quite an enjoyable game.

If you like the Harvest Moon games, then I'd say yes. Personally, it's not my favorite Harvest Moon game, but I still enjoyed it.

I actually just got back into this game. It's pretty fun. It's even more fun when you connect it with Another Wonderful Life. (which is also a great harvest moon game)

If you can find it. Because it's an old game, and a popular one among HM fans, it will be very difficult to find. Even then, you have to look out for pirated copies.

I know it's really popular, yeah, but I see copies of it secondhand here all the time :3

I'd recommend it. I only played the ps2 and other consoles, this was my first handheld game and I absolutely loved it. It's a lot of fun andd really cute =)
Depends on what your most interested in though, I just liked the whole heart event marriage stuff.

I'd definately get it , it's one of my favorites. But who knows you might not like it because it's really.. like someone else said "basic" I love it though it was my third ever harvest moon game.
A wonderful Life, FOMT, then this. I actually like FoMT better for some reason.. But overall it's a must have Harvest Moon game
