this was the first portable game where they aren't all chibi-like! That's actually why I really like Ivan...because he doesn't look like a kid. The Twin Villages guys are all grown up and stuff....so maybe you would really dig them?

I actually like them all (Well, for the exception of Schmidt ) They are all pretty cute ~ However they might just be a tad bit bland, just a tad...

I'm comparing them to basically all the Harvest Moon games I've ever played (most of them) and I think they look younger than the characters from Harvest Moon DS/Cute and Island of Happiness/Sunshine island. The character designs for this game just aren't my cup of tea, but I'm getting it anyway simply because it's a harvest moon game. I do prefer the Twin Villages bachelors (Kamil, anyway) to the Grand Bazaar.

Not just the bachelors, but the bachelorettes as well. None of them are incredibly appealing to me. :/ Maybe I'll just veto marriage in this one all-together, because every single potential spouse on both sides looks bland and uninteresting. :/ But that's just my opinion, so I digress.

Im almost always disappointed with the bachelors these days, they suck.

I think the bachelors are pretty good this time, especially Lloyd and Schmidt.

As for the girls, Shelfer is just bleh, but the rest are good. So yeah, save for Shelfer I think all of the marriage candidates are pretty good. :3

Yeah, but the bachelors almost always disappoint me. The bachelorettes always seem so much cuter. Usually there's only 1 to 3 bachelors that I'd even consider marrying, but there's almost always at least 3 bachelorettes that I'd want to marry.

Agi is probably who I'm going to marry, but Juris and Dirka are ok. The other 2 aren't even an option for me.

I actually like pretty much all the bachelorettes. My fav has to be Enju, though. She's awesome.

It's times like this where I really want to play as a boy (but probably won't unless I make 2 files). XD

I get the "meh" feeling seeing them however Dirka seems to fit the bill for me.

Art style might not appeal to everyone - I guess like with MM, haha.
I find them cute, but I get what people mean by them looking plain~

the style of the people in this game is not really my favorite I prefer more of the old fashioned and original style like (my favorite style) MFoMT/FoMT or Harvest Moon Twin Villages (very close to being my favorite style).
However the guys are decent looking (at least they aren't terrible).

well I'm not exactly dissapointed but I'm not very satisfied with the bachelors this time,in previous games at least 3 male characters would interest me but this time around only Schmidt caught my eye.

actually I always found the bacheloretes more apealing than the bachelors

i alway like most of the bachelors/ettes in every HM game (well, maybe not so much in Cute, some where just plain creepy )

and i love the style that the handhelds have, cause i'm a big fan of anime looking characters! i'll have a really hard time choosing who to marry in this one.... (well maybe not my first file. i'll be marrying Schimdt in that one! he looks so cuteeeeee!!! )

But it's sorta hard for me not to think of all of them as suckish when there is a clear winner above them all...

i havent played the game yet, so i don't know what to think. i might have to court all the bachelors just to see what their like. i have heard Royd compaired to vaughn, so i might marry him. (i'm a kindda a vaughn fangirl.) but i might just have to
