@Cinnamon-Yeah, I won't get my hopes too high. I was just caught up in the moment.(yay for a gallon of espresso! xD)
The more I think about it, the more unrealistic it seems.

@Melody- It would be amazing. :D I'm still going to keep the hope alive! Cx

I don't like reverse proposals. That's how they work in the girl part of Boy and Girl, and I found it annoying having to wait for dumb-ol' Cliff to show up at my house with the stupid feather. Plus, since I'd missed his last Heart Event, I ended up waiting a lot longer than usual to find out that something was wrong. If I had been able to propose myself, I would've known to check for that a lot sooner (as it was, it took me a year). I prefer the control that comes from proposing myself. I'm actually glad Kamil and Michael don't have reverse proposals, and I want them to stay that way =3= I can definitely understand why you might find it interesting. Just thought I'd chime in to let you know that it's got its downside.

Back on topic, I already answered this question: Not playing as a girl. Don't give a « Puppy Doodoo ».

I'm quite disappointed, sad to say. The girls are pretty but the boys lack of..something. Aura?

You know it's rather funny that you phrase it that way, because personally I feel pretty much all of the bachelors and bachelorettes lack any defining aura, except one from each gender. The rest just seem very meh to me. Then again, maybe TV just kind of spoiled me hearing about their characters, who I find more appealing. Still, I'm mainly getting GB for the bazaar and such mechanics; they are quite fun. I'll probably get married, but I don't know to whom yet, no one really stands out to me.

Personally, at least compared to the girls, I've always found most of the bachelors in any Harvest Moon pretty disappointing. With the girls I always feel they're all pretty decent (at least looks and base personality wise; character development is another issue all together). Whereas the guys, I'd say 1-2 in every set of them are appealing and the rest of them are all pretty meh.

Regardless, I also say oh well because beggars can't be choosers and I honestly think we should just be grateful there's the option to marry guys in the first place. (Darn you RF and your lack of girl versions).

If I ever played as a girl in HM, I'd probably agree in most cases (M/FoMT and DS/C, for example). Hosever, I feel that, in SI, the bachelors were preferable to the bachelorettes (I'd definately go for 4 of the bachelors vs. 1 of the bachelorettes, and I'm really not that enthusiastic about it). I have been thinking it over, and there are definately three of the bachelorettes in this game that I would not go for (I'm on the fence about the other two until it comes out in English). As far as the male bachelors, though, there's really only one that I have written off for sure, and one more as a probably written off.

Of course, that's if I'd play as a female character.
