Where is my horse?!

I decided to polish off my MFoMT game and start a new file. I'm in Winter now. First year. And Barley has yet to give me a horse. Yes, I've talked to him. A few times. No, we're not best buddies. I thought he was supposed to give it to you by at least Fall...? It's Winter 4 or something.

Thanks. I did read that already, but it didn't say you had to be really good friends with him. I don't remember befriending him in other files, and I still got the horse. And I made sure I had at least talked to him.

Hmm.... Well try giving him stuff he likes or something. It's really odd that you haven't gotten the horse yet though.

It might be a glitch? I've always gotten my horse by at least end of spring/beginning of summer, personnally.. :\

On mine's, I always get the horse from Barley on Spring 5th.

Yeah, you'd have to get it pretty early into Year 1, because doesn't he show up at the beginning of Year 2 and either get angry with you for not taking good care of it, or let you keep it because you've done such a good job? It sounds like your game might be somewhat messed up in this case...?

Oh I'm sure. I would have remembered if he had come at all. I guess I'll just try befriending him and see how it goes. Thanks guys.

EDIT: Oh yeah so I finally got the horse. I got it Spring 2, year 2

That's really weird, I always get my baby horse on Spring 5th. Didn't even befriend Barley or anything like that. o__o
