I've been thinking about getting Sunshine islands for a while as I never picked up Island of Happiness. But with this new one coming out, which one is better exactly? Thanks.

do you mean sunshine islands vs. island of happiness?
Or sunshine islands vs. grand bazaar?

if you mean the first one then I would go for sunshine islands...but both are good...
If you meant the other one...then I would have a hard time deciding :P I got island of happiness a year ago and that was good...then a week ago I got sunshine islands which is better...so if it keeps on getting better...then I would get grand bazaar :P But all of them will be good :P

It depends i think :3.
Sunshine islands is probably more challenging than Grand Bazaar.
I've played SI and it's good, but i haven't played Grand Bazaar yet. Some of the members in these forums have been saying Grand Bazaar is really easy compared to the other games. So if you want an easy game to just be able to relax with i suggest GB, but if you want something a little more challenging go with SI. I'm sure both of them are wonderful though.

We can't make that decision for you. But I'll give you 2 videos to look at and compare. I have yet to play GB, but my advice would be to try them both and see how you feel about it.

SI was quite challenging, but Grand Bazaar is more relaxed and easy gameplay. I've played SI and enjoyed it, but I'm ready for an easier game. But its your call. Besides, unless you plan on importing you've still got a while to wait for GB.

I'm not trying to tell you which to get, I just wanted to say that I'm getting Grand Bazaar over Sunshine Islands, though I kind of want both. I'm going with Grand Bazaar because it's newer and I'm just too excited to wait for it. However, my opinion might be different from yours, because I have actually played IOH (and still am playing it, actually.. I can only do a bit at a time though, or I get angry at it xD) and am ready for something completely different :3

Haha, Grand Bazaar comes out August 17th, I hear...It was originally July 27th, but sadly as always, Natsume pushed it back.

Personally I'd go for Grand Bazaar. It's the same price as Sunshine Islands, but newer. Like it was said before if you want a more challenging game get Sunshine Islands, but if you want to relax while playing go for Grand Bazaar.
It's completely up to you. Have fun with whichever you choose.

(oh and if you preorder Grand Bazaar from Gamestop you'll get a horse plushie)

I would say...take a look at the characters and think about the settings that each takes place. Also, are you looking for something that has practically no pressure to play or are you looking for something that will really challenge you? Grand Bazaar is very laid back (from what I hear overall. I only got to play it for a few minutes at e3) and since there's no special way to do things, it's perfect for people who can't sit down and play Harvest Moon for hours everyday. However, if you find yourself with a lot of freetime and you want something to really preoccupy your time, then Sunshine Islands might be a better idea.
Personally? I think I'm going to like Grand Bazaar a lot better than Sunshine Islands. I don't have a lot of time to play games, especially in the Fall when school picks back up and work gets really tiring (holiday rush, you know). Plus I think the characters are really cute so I know that will keep me popping open my DS after going to school all morning and working all night...but that's just me ^^;;

Personally, I have both Sunshine Islands and Wind Bazaar (imported). I love both games, now I like Sunshine Islands for a challenge aka collecting all the sun stones, and I like Wind Bazaar for the relaxed gameplay. Its up to you on which game you want. Have fun with whatever decision you make on what game you get.
