Cliff's blue heart and fainting scene

Ok, so I accidentally got Cliff to a green heart before getting his blue heart event. Does this mean I have to bring his heart level down in order to see it?

Edit: I am now having problems veiwing his fainting scene. It is the 23 of winter, it's snowing and I'm still having problems trying to get it. I've been trying since the beginning of winter.

No, you should still be able to activate the heart event.

Yeah, you can get him all the way to red, then trigger all his heart events, if you wanted to.
