I'm kinda confused about the friendship points too.

Ash has max flowers (is in love), Cheryl has 5 flowers and Jessica - 3. I was trying to give him the blue feather because I wanted to see what the proposal event looks like (and later turn off the DS ) but he... didn't care about my feather :/
So I don't know if I need to have Cheryl and Jess with max flowers too?

Try raising Jessica's flowers to 4. That should be more then enough.

I've been giving him Red Magic flowers but they're pretty rare. Now i'm giving him milk curry every day, which he also seems to like. I think i have him almost upn to 3 flowers.
