Option to change our username?

I thought it would be nice to have that option.

I just found out awhile ago that I misspelled the Welsh version of my name. OTL I don't know how, but I thought I saw it spelled Gwenefar... I shouldn't have checked it through Google to see if it was spelled correctly. Now I wish I could change it to Gwenhwyfar, but I don't have that option. xD;

I know some other sites that give that option and even give the option to display the username history on their profile. Maybe you could give the person at least one or two chances to change their username on their account?

I know that a lot of the people abuse the "change username" option when given the chance. But if you PM Cher she may change it for you.

xD Well, I know that on VocaloidOtaku.net, they provide a history of the person's display name, so you'll know who they are.

I'm pretty sure Cher doesn't change names unless it's a serious reason.
Like having your location in it.

Belldandy's original username was pretty long (HarvestGoddessBellDandy), so she asked Cher if she could shorten it to just Belldandy, and she did.

I'm not sure if she'll let you change yours. You'd probably have to PM her.

Eh, no. A lot of people would start changing their names and we would feel confused about who is who.

I always thought it would be nice to have one grace name change for those that don't like the name they chose originally. It seems often people choose their username and then several years later realize they don't like it at all.

If one person got what are essentially cosmetic changes to their name, everyone would want one, then people would want new names all the time, and the forum would go to hell.
To be honest, I think some people who want capital letters or different spellings are being a little silly.
Your names look great as is.

I go to another forum that gives you the name changing option and I can say that I rarely see people change their names. You can check on their name change history and very few will have anything in there.

I'm one of those rare people. I just wanted to correct my spelling error.

I remember when I wanted to change my username to Elele. To reflect my new username for everywhere, but I was rejected when i asked. XD Its weird, using my old username from beyblade days here....

But yeah, I dont think it should be an official option, but maybe have some area or way we can request it would be nice. Maybe even assign someone to do it? If thats possible. You could just make a temporary title change to 'used to be so and so' or something.
