Option to change our username?

Yeah, I've also seen sites that did the "use to be so-and-so" stuff.

I actually wouldn't mind being able to change it cosmetically.. didn't think about capitals and spaces back when I joined XD...

I don't change my usernames like a cosmetic things. Just if I realized I misspelled something or of that like. xD

i've changed my username around twice by PMing her. only minor changes like sun_zhongshan to Sun Zhongshan and then to my current one. pretty sure she wouldn't have a huge problem with it.

being on a board where you can just change your username is a pain to keep track of who's who. juss sayin

I just thought it would kind of be a nice idea to have that option, though..

yes, it might be nice to have the option, but it's not going to happen on this forum in the foreseeable future. The way to get your username changed, no matter the reason, is to PM Cher and ask. This is the way that she prefers to handle such changes. Despite rumours, Cher doesn't have magical powers and she can't read minds yet, just send her a direct message with what you want and she'll try to accommodate.
