I used the billion G cheat, but it doesn't make your game boring if you limit yourself...
For example, I gather ALL of my materials for upgrades/building projects. I have almost 1k in wood lumber by now... And I use it mainly for buying crops, and I'm not going to use it again, anyways.
My cousin has all gold lumber buildings, but I'm fine with stone, I don't feel like wasting my monies on fancy imported gold spray painted wood... /randomness

I used the 1billionG glitch, then found that the money-making aspect of the game had become pointless, so what im doing now is demolishing my whole farm and rebuilding in GOLD. Then if i STILL have hideous amounts of cash left, i will build all of my FENCES out of gold too. Then i will spend the remaining amount of money on Sprite Medals. THEN 1millionG tickets.
And another thing. I am determined to get all of the normal girls and Leia up to red heart, THEN marry Nami. And marry off all the rival couples after my own marriage. I am also determined to make my son my best friend. How very sad i am...

I have Gray at a blue heart. For my game, I'm going to try to complete my shipping list, mine list, and fishing list. I'm also on my way of completing my recipe list. I have 55 recipes. I'm going to get all 101 sprites, I have 61 already. I just got the legendary sword and all of my tools are Mystril. I also have crops all around the valley. I'm be-friending all villagers too ^_^

) Ive put on a good amount of money so I used it to build the first basement and buy A LOT of tree seeds and so now I have a lot of leveled up trees on my farm.... like, It's full of trees except for the little corner where my animals are ( the good ones, because I already passed the animal killing part 
) And Im working on getting all the bachelorettes to red hearts.
