I second this.
I was considering importing Twin Villages also, but I can't understand Japanese either. I might import it after I complete GB, but I'm not sure yet.

Both! I'll just be waiting around for Twin Villages in English, so why not get Grand Bazaar for the mean time?

Go with GB first. Like so many have already said, how can you have fun with a game you can't understand? If you can't understand Japanese, then how do you expect to get through simple things such as the intro and cutscenes? Would you just marry someone based on appearence? It kind of goes against how I play HM. I like to figure out each candidate's personality and go from there.

Not to mention, GB will be coming out soon. TV will be hear eventually, just be patient.

They can use a power of imagination and create their own personalities for the characters. They can imagine what the characters have to say. Sometimes it is better than reading the same lines over and over again.

BTW, if you play TV now, you won't have a fun with GB anymore. So better buy GB.
