I kinda like Amir. In my view, it does fit him.
Emiko... I love that name for Kagetsu. Is Emiko Japanese? If so, I don't see why they would change it in the first place :/

Emiko.
Just for the sake of changing all of the names, I guess~

Emiko is Japanese. They probably changed it to make it easier to pronounce (since a lot of English speakers have some trouble with the "tsu" sound)

In case anyone is curious, Amir means prince.

Amir...
Well, at least it's better than Ivan...
No comment on Emiko.

Emiko is beautiful, but Amir is the name of a kid who bullied me throughout all of middle school. He's a real jerk too. Now I'm going to associate Schmidt with him...but I actually liked Schmidt. Why?!?! T_T

I say they're fine. :3

Personally, the Japanese ones are a little weird to me. >w>; I could live with them, but they still are very evidently foreign. And while, yes, the game is foreign...I don't know...I'm not used to that sort of thing when it comes to HM names I guess. |3 Not generally anyways.

I'll admit, though, I could easily live with Schmidt-that one doesn't bother me so much.

I actually really like Amir! :P
It makes more sense since he's obviously middle-eastern. Schmidt is very European.

I prefer the original names, though I'll get used to the new names overtime. :)

Amir really fits him.
Emiko...no. Kagetsu's much better in my opinion. Emiko sounds too much like Emily. My best friend's name is Emily, so I don't have a problem with the name.
Oh and Kagetsu sounds more elegant and more fitting to the character (from what I've seen).

Amir sounds really stereotypical.. I kinda like Emiko, but still like Kagetsu more, but i think it will grow on me.

My sentiments. I won't ever like them more, but I'll be able to tolerate them.

I still wonder why they picked Emiko specifically. That kind of name didn't even cross my mind when thinking about serious name changes. I was sure it would be Kaguya... I like Kaguya D: (in Japanese folklore Kaguya is the princess of the moon, for those curious) Oh well. Maybe "Emiko" is the name of a coworker's friend's daughter or something like that.
