Emiko... I love that name for Kagetsu. Is Emiko Japanese? If so, I don't see why they would change it in the first place :/
Just for the sake of changing all of the names, I guess~
Emiko is Japanese. They probably changed it to make it easier to pronounce (since a lot of English speakers have some trouble with the "tsu" sound)
In case anyone is curious, Amir means prince.

I say they're fine. :3
Personally, the Japanese ones are a little weird to me. >w>; I could live with them, but they still are very evidently foreign. And while, yes, the game is foreign...I don't know...I'm not used to that sort of thing when it comes to HM names I guess. |3 Not generally anyways.
I'll admit, though, I could easily live with Schmidt-that one doesn't bother me so much.

I still wonder why they picked Emiko specifically. That kind of name didn't even cross my mind when thinking about serious name changes. I was sure it would be Kaguya... I like Kaguya D: (in Japanese folklore Kaguya is the princess of the moon, for those curious) Oh well. Maybe "Emiko" is the name of a coworker's friend's daughter or something like that.
