That definately depends for me. It depends on what name I got used to first. Like, if I had ben researching the game for a while, and only knew about their Japanese names, then I'd probably call them that for a while (until I got used to their English ones). For example, I called Chase, Chihaya for the longest time. >_> Btw, is Enju's English name Enju? If it's not, I have a feeling I will be calling her that for a LONG time. >_<

Oh wait, never mind. I just found out that they ruined it and called her Antoinette. FFFFFF. Enju was such an awesome name, and Antoinette is just...bleh. So yeah, in this case I liked the original name better. Dx And I was totally going to marry her in my boy file, but now that she has the disgusting name, I'm all discouraged. T_T

I Schmidt's new name, but not Kagetsu's. It's kind of... ew.

I agree. Antoinette sounds so fancy and has a royal connotation. I don't know her personality (because I couldn't read Japanese), but she does seem to be dressed in fancier clothes than other characters. Natsume chose a good name for her

I still don't like it. It doesn't seem to suite her. Maybe I'll change my opinion later, but....

Antoinette sounds a far cry more fitting then Enju. Enju sounds like somebody sneezed.

Besides, Antoinette is a sophisticated sounding name. That looks like it would fit her to a tee.

I don't particularly care about them usually, but I think Natsume did a good job with the names. c:

Antoinette fits Enju imo, and I really like the name they chose for Kagetsu. ^^'

I don't give a damn. I just call them the name that first comes to mind, which is usually their English name.

I am also upset that Anemone's name was changed...

I prefer the original names. I am especially mad at Juris's English name. It sounds very...girlish to me.

For me, I generally prefer the names based on what I'm familiar with. In SI, I preferred most of the Japanese forms of the names because I was used to them. In all the other HM games I know of, I'm perfectly content with the English ones.
But in the end, I really just care about which one sounds better, I s'pose. They generally mean the same thing, so yeah. :3

The originals are nice, but the English names make sense....so it certainly depends....
