I heard that the rival couples won't marry, but you can still see the scenes. If that's the case, then if I want to see a rival scene for a couple but still want to marry the person could I?
or does the game count it as "too late" like in IoH and SI?

If you see all 4 rival events, you won't be able to marry them anymore.

The rivals don't get married, but if you see all four of their rival events you won't be able to marry them.
They were meant to get married, but I think something happened?

That is so strange though. You can see the rival events but they won't marry....Weird. Sorry its just strange to me.

That is so lame that the rivals won't marry. Seems pointless to see all these 'love' events between the two and then nothing happens. Oh well... :/

I heard that they didn't have enough time to add in the rival marriages in the Japanese version or something like that.

So, apparently, once you see all rival heart events then no one can have them?
Sometimes the stuff that goes wrong in these games is strange.

(Joking here, but) Maybe the rival dumped them randomly after the last heart scene, and then the character can never love again. Pfft. >w>;

Oh, they don't marry. I always looked forward to the rival weddings. It kinda ruins the feeling for me. Just to see all the rival events and then...nothing. What a bore. Oh well, least there's other things that make up for it I guess.

they admit there love to one and another and dont get marred ... what a sad life
