my mall, my tiny mall has 2 gamestops in it. they are like a minute's walk from eachother. its like mcdonalds for games.

the game is avalible for release in other stores, but if you are not in the u.s. u cannot get the game. you will have to order it from like amazon or something. the august 24 date is just the united states
And Canada. We have EB Games here, which is the same company. :3

Ah think the joke yer lookin' for is Starbucks. Then again, we cowboys don't mind a good burger, but real men drink their coffee black... ma'am. /tips hat

Didn't Nintendo push back SSB?
I hate starbucks. They support bull fights.
did you know, they keep the bulls in a tiny box and they electricute the bull half to death. not only is it cheating but it is CRUEL!

LexyJenrex wrote:The game will be full of bugs, glitches, typos, and whatnot even if they are delaying the game. You guys know Natsume better then that. x3 Sides the game has gone gold so it's done. They aren't making any revisions.

They probably underestimated how long it would take to make copies again.
Exactly, which is what pisses me off the worst.
If they actually didn't have problems even when it came out it would be one thing, but they have a bad track record of pushing back games time and time again AND being full of bugs/glitches.
So there's NO point....

Well come on guys, it's only another week. I mean we are going to get the game. Its just going to take a little more time.
Anonymous Fish wrote:Yeah, the game has already gone gold, which means it has been shipped to the places that will sell it. It's not Natsume's fault, it's Gamestops. D:
Does this mean that GamesStop is the only one with the August 24th push back date?
and that places like Amazon is still August 17th? :|

Eh, no, I didn't really have any other way to put it...but I'm pretty sure all the companies that will sell the game will release it on the 24th. It is just taking them longer than they though to make copies of it, and ship it to the stores. D:

The people who get games fastest though, are the manufacturers. Then whomever get's the shipments faster. It's ACTUALLY possible to get the game on Shipping day however through Amazon. Just prepared to pay and arm and leg for it.

And yes, I am aware of Natsume's inability to keep to their release dates. xD It's actually won them a few Vaporware awards.
I know I'll sound like a moron for asking this-but what's Vaporware? |D;;

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vaporware
Or to quote from it specifically:
Vaporware is a word used to describe products, usually computer hardware or software, that were not released on the date announced by their developer, or that were announced months or years before their release. Application of the word usually implies a negative opinion of a product, and uncertainty that it will eventually be released. The word has been applied to a growing range of products including consumer electronics, automobiles, and some stock trading practices.
The most infamous video game example would be Duke Nukem Forever which has been in development since 1997 and still has not been released.
Duke Nukem Forever has drawn a number of jokes related to its development timeline. The video gaming media and public in general have routinely suggested several names in place of Forever, calling it "Never", "(Taking) Forever", "Whenever", "ForNever", "Neverever", and "If Ever".[61] The game has also been ridiculed as Duke Nukem: Forever In Development, "the longest game ever in production" and "an elaborate in-joke at the expense of the industry".[67]

Well... I guess that the wait isn't too bad. Patience is a virtue after all... Though its too bad how the 24th isn't that far from when school starts again, so I don't get as much time to play...

For the EB Games thing, it's really, really hard to come by Harvest Moon games if you just walk in. x:
Plus they usually get games a week later than the gamestops in the US since they need to put in the French manual, etc.
