xD True, I s'pose.LonLon wrote:It's BRAWL. Nothing about Brawl lends itself to patience.Curimuch wrote:Brawl only had one push back after its prediction date. You guys are hilariously irritable and impatient.
Brawl was pretty fun once it finally came out, too.
Kameko- No, not once. =w= I kind of doubt there are any, at least in English or for anywhere outside of Japan.
I think it sort of sucks, because the Natsume company probably gets to be lazier about the job than if it were a popular (or even just more well known) game. =3=;
And Natsume's infamous history doesn't bring me much hope for the release of the Twin Villages game-at least not any time soon, if they ever get to it. x3;
Well, there are a lot of hardcore fans (read: addicts) who set out to buy every game as soon as it comes out. That's probably the majority of their demographic.bluemuffin wrote:They have the videos...
But nothing on TV and it still gets so many people
I actually read an article in a gaming magazine (I don't remember which one, but it was probably Game Informer, since that's the one I'm subscribed to) fairly recently about that. The author was talking about how video games aren't advertised as heavily as movies and television shows and such, and pointed out that you rarely see trailers for new games unless they're either big name titles like a new Call of Duty or Final Fantasy, or you go looking for him (as an aside, Seth Green in the commercial for DQ9 was win). I don't remember why they theorized that was, just that I found the article interesting at the time (and clearly promptly forgot it. Go figure).Zurielle wrote:No, not once. =w= I kind of doubt there are any, at least in English or for anywhere outside of Japan.

That's actually how they're advertised. When you've got a video game you like to play, you're not watching TV. You're playing the frocking game! And, chances are, if you're interested in some upcoming titles, you are either subscribed to a magazine or go to websites that talk about games.
It's not that they don't advertise. They just know where to advertise.

Wise words indeed!
