So as of right now one pet will herd out one animal.
One dog takes out one cow.
One cat takes out one chicken.
Then they just stop.
As I raise my affection with my pets will they begin herding out more than one animal or do I need a pet for every thing I have in the barn and the chicken coop?

The little dog takes out the sheep.

And no, you dont need to buy another pets, as long as you increase their affection they will take out more animals.

The big dog - cows
The husky - sheeps and alpacas
The cats - chickens

So you should buy 3 pets.
