Cliff and Ann's black heart rival event

Hey guys, sorry if this question sounds stupid, but I tried activating Cliff and Ann's black heart event. I missed it in the spring time, (which was weird cause I entered the Inn at night all the time to befriend Ann) I checked the site (yes I have checked the site), and it said to try in fall if you were to miss it in spring. So it is fall now, Cliff is in town, but I still cant activate it. Can you guys help me? Thank you very much.

Did you talk to Cliff and Ann?
If you did, then maybe you are going there at the wrong time.

Yup I've talked to both, and I'm going at 6-7ish? Is that good, or what time is it? Thank you very much, Im sorry. Also, isnt their a time limit for a certain rival heart event of theirs?

The black rival event can't be triggered the first 5 days in fall and it can't be triggered on a saturday.
It can be triggered after 7 pm (if Cliff already works at the winery it can be triggered after 7:50 pm)

I dont mean to sound rude, but before I posted this I did check the site, and it was even written in my first post of this topic that I checked the site. I sincerely needed help, and I do use Cher's well written guide
