I've heard so many negative things about this game, and I was wondering if it was worth getting?

I wouldn't really care about what other people think until you try the game for yourself. At Gamestop they have a 7 day return policy, so if you don't like it, you can return it.

In the end, it all comes down to your opinion. ^^

Yup. I think that all places have return policies. They just usually don't bother to tell you so they don't have to give you your money back.

Anyways, I really hope GB is worth it, because I've been dying to play it for a long time.
I wish that the character graphics looked more... I guess, not as child like?
I'm not as concerned with them though, I just hope the gameplay isn't boring.

For me so far its a bit boring...

All you do for 5 days is double-jump around and give your girl one gift. Then the bazaar and possibly a festival.

I kind of regret getting it.

It seems like a calmer better game if you were tired of those plots from Si&IoH

& you have to remember that most of these comments are just opinions, so you dont really know for sure if you will think its as bad/good as people say.

If you got it new, you could only return it if it didn't work. And only for another copy.

You can return a game for a full refund if it is unopened. Maybe you should try renting the game first to see if you like it enough to buy it.

Pretty much the same as Gamestop. You can only return a new item if you haven't opened it.

i haven't played a HM game that i haven't liked.... it sorta a shiny toy to me..... but of different levels if shininess....
