I don't have it; not being able to read Japanese would kind of cut into the enjoyment factor for me... that aside, I think I'm actually getting a little excited about this game. it looks kind of amazing, but I was hoping to get some opinions from the people who are actually playing it.

so... is it any good? as a whole, I mean. if you're a fan of the series, where would you place this one, as far as favorites go? and feel free to compare it to previous titles, I actually am kind of looking for personal opinions here. :] fanks

I think it's the best handheld HM now Interesting characters, a fair amount of dialogue, and the interesting ones aren't just limited to marriage candidates. It's not as easy as Grand Bazaar, but it doesn't have the kind of grinding and uber-farming necessary to make progress in IoH/SI. Being able to choose between the two towns opens up new styles of gameplay.

Though the "hold L button to run" is pretty ridiculous, it's as if when MMV was developing the game they were like "each Harvest Moon has to have some major drawback, if we don't think of something quick or this game will be too good" and so my poor gimp hands suffer. I can't hold a pencil darnit, don't make me lose my trigger fingers too

Honestly I'm not HM Fans, I have been played HM SI a few months ago, and getting bored soon, That games really hard for me, The only one Japanese Games which I Love so Much Only TMGS ( Tokimeki Girls Side ) but When I saw HM Twin Villages Released a month ago, I love it and buy it.

Anyways, I don't understand japanese much, but I Like it, and within this game, I Learn so Much. And Enjoy it, even I don't understand the means. But with Rhea Guide it's help me much, even my native languange isn't english. but I like it.

My Suggestion, If you don't care with that meaning, ( daily conversation ) just Go Ahead buy Legal Copy of this Game, but that Japanese make you headache, just wait other series release, Grand Bazzar is good choice and it's similiar graphic.

The Twin Villages is good (not great). I found many pros and cons. TV is a HM of the new generation but isn't as bubbly as SI or GB. You can find the moments of sadness but they aren't as clear as the events from the older games (awl/anwl/HM64 etc.).

The biggest cons in my opinion:

- festivas - big and important part of every Harvest Moon. Sadly, in TV the festivals don't look good. They are mini cut scenes where the characters talk with each other but you can't speak to them. 70% of festivals is about food and cooking. Sorry, but 4 cooking contests every month is too much and I feel bored of reading the same lines over and over again. Harvest Festival, the Horse Races or romantic Fireworks do not exist. Too bad because I loved throwing poisonus mushrooms and failed dishies to the pot I don't know why Marvelous made this huge mistake and they removed them from this game.

- the second big con are sounds. I'm sorry but I really loved the night sounds from FoMT/MFoMT where I could hear cicadas, wind, trees etc. In TV I hear only the owl and drunk cricket. They have been there since IoH. Marvelous! Change that, please. Also, the house music should stop playing in the night.

- the 3rd con:
your kid grows too slowly and you can't see your spouse sleeping. This always has been a nice part of HM.

- and finally the 4th con: requests. First they were cool and interesting but now they're playing on my nerves. The characters usually want a huge number of cooking dishies or some very rare items from me. I'm not able to give them 9 golden eggs. That's impossible to do. The orange requests are the best because the characters ask me for help with brushing their animals, watering field or picking fruits. That's cool and funny. But the rest of requests is ultra boring.

The pros are important:
- a very nice music and graphic. I really like all these places in the game.
- dating system and making the bachelor/ettes jealous makes the game more realistic too.
- farming is easy and your field looks more natural than in GB
etc. etc. etc. I'm too lazy so I won't write about all pros.

Like I said, this game isn't bad and isn't awesome. I believe you will have a fun if you decide to play it

add some realism. I hate how in AP your kids grows up after a several months into a 10 year old child :I
and don't even get me started on the rival children with their two weeks xD
