I have a question about crops.

How to grow 4 or 5 level crops? I would like to win the crop festival but with 1-star crop it is not possible :/

It's a long process using fertilizer and the seed maker.

Basically, you buy the seeds from the shop, plant them, fertilize them (fertilizer raises their quality by half a star) and once they're fully grown, use the seed maker to turn them back into seeds. The resulting seeds will be half a star higher than the ones you bought at the shop at first. Rinse and repeat until you get 4 or 5 stars.

I must have done something wrong. The plants I made with the seed maker and then planted in the same season with green fertilizer didn't increase in quality a second time.

Any ideas?

Has somebody tried to use the fertilizer-like things Sage can make for you?
Maybe those things will make your crops go up more stars?

and... How can i do the continuous hole in the ground for the seeds?

no other fertilizer not increase star but have different ability like increase more crop or water crop etc.

I have high rank star from quest but I try to increase star more than 0.5 star in same season but I can't

I will try to increase it in second season

Maybe if you use more than one fertilizer you will get better crops? Like 2 x fertilizer = 2 star crop?

I ever use 2 fertilizer but It 1 star (increase 0.5 satr) like 1 fertilizer

Nope, wasted quite a bit of money figuring out that didn't work.

Chihiro often gives me seeds for the more difficult requests. Today he gave me 3 bags of pumpkin seeds that were 5 star quality... I noticed that Zauri and Licorice also had seeds as rewards but I think they were both tree seeds. Still, there may be other townspeople who will give you crop seeds as well. Keep in mind that the quality of what they give you depends on the quality of what you gave them. I would suggest watching for requests where you can get seeds and try HARD to fulfill them with high quality items.

Silly question - will the seeds root if I keep them in the box?

Nah, seeds don't have a freshness rating. I'm gonna hoard those 5-star guys foreeeeever! Or 3 years that I'm in Konohana. Summer crop fest is MINE!
