That would be a horrible RPG then. Usually a well-designed RPG has a difficulty curve where the monsters (or whatever challenges you face) start off pretty easy, then get stronger and more difficult so you
have to use a wider variety of techniques and strategies to defeat them, as the game progresses. Making money isn't the goal... the goal is to finish the story and then cry when the game is over. :P Similarly, most platformers don't start with the final level and then end with the easiest one.
(I don't consider HM an RPG, even though some of them are incorporating more RPG-like elements in them now. At heart it's a simulation game. The major flaw behind HM's money system, I think, is that it no longer imposes any kind of time limit. Having to accomplish something within a certain time frame ups the ante and makes gameplay more involved.)

I find most times when I've played an RPG in hopes of getting every spell, weapon, etc before facing the final boss, I end up seriously overpowering him/her/it, which was the sort of thing I was alluding to.

Maybe even the ability to change from ranch to farm and back after certain milestones are hit in the game. Like ship at least 1 of each produce/product you can make + getting to specific farmer/rancher levels.
Um...you mean like in Twin Villages? You can have a ranch in one village, and a farm in the other. You have to wait a season before being about to switch back.

this ideas are cool i really wish they make it with all of this ideas
mine
-customize!!!! house, barn, rooms, clothes, hair ......etc and also customize with stylus
-anime cut scenes for festivals and heart events and what not
-stinky system (i made this up) so when your stamina runs low you build sweat and you smell and if you talk to some one they will lose fp/hp points cause of your smell and a little sing will appear above there heads
-one stamina bar like in bazaar but with power berries so the bar changes color for each berry 10 in total
-cooking like in FOMT
-harvest sprites but just 7 not 101 like in HMDS
-cards should be brought back but make a fun game with them like duel monsters or something
-family helps you out
-set table to eat or plan party's for friends or family
-new animals and there male counter parts like rosters and rams and bulls and for them to breed you have to spray them with "love potion" hahah
-more festivals and improvements on old ones like a roster fight festival and bull riding one and Easter egg hunt where they hide Easter eggs all around town and you have to find them before the others
-bigger town and slower time and one stamina bar
-MINE!!!!! bazaar doesn't have one what a gip
-bazaar will be cool to have but also shipping bin where they pick it up at 8pm now not 5pm and but if you sell stuff in bazaar you get more cash
-i really liked the fridge and shelf not like the storage in bazaar but they should put the storage next to bazaar stand instead that way you wont have to run home and back
-place any rank item together like a 1 star turnip with a 2 star one so you could have more space and ability to arrange items in bag or shelf ... etc
well that's all i guess
