who wants to bet that ign (or another big reviewing company) won't review HM: GB. or if they do they'll give it a crappy score?
i know nintendo power already gave it a 6/10

They'll probably review it. All the other ones that have come out lately have been reviewed.

I think NP gave IoH a 6, so... Yeah. There's that.

Uhh... major reviewers hardly ever give niche titles a good score. Heck they kinda make it obvious that they pretty much base it on hype. Monster Monter Tri had it's score mysteriously changed when it actually got a lot of attention.

Yeah they probably will rate it a little low but that's how it always has been. Don't let it get to you. These are people that don't have the experience and memories that we have with HM...I'm guessing cause I'd be rating these games pretty high if I was a reviewer.

HM is such a underrated game and I'm glad that it is. I'd hate to have a HUGE fanbase. All us HM fans feel like family here and I highly doubt that it would feel the same if HM was a high rated popular game.

RFF got a lot of high scores. The more big-name reviewers (like Game Informer) gave it lower ones, but the average is still about 7 or 8.

yeah... hm takes patience to play, which most big reviewers don't have. like in SI, i doubt the reviewer would have gotten sunny islands raised, or got married.

and yes i like that this is a sort of underrated fourm, it makes it more fun IMO.

^I think it's time, not patience that they lack. Game reviewers have to review a lot of games. Still, I'm sure they play enough. In the screenshots I saw for a magazine review of IoH, the reviewer was married and had a kid.

It is more fun. Imagine if HM was a higer rated game. This forum would be filled to the brim with things requesting help and such and would get annoying. These forums have a laidback attitude imo, with random funny topics and just fun stuff to do in general. Yeah you do have your help stuff but it's not just all this is.

Sometimes it feels like there are a million fans though since it's been so hard for me to get most of them I have....
And, yeah, I wouldn't let it bother you. Enjoy it for what it is and the reasons you enjoy it, and understand that a lot of the time game reviews ARE made from hype, very rarely is it the other way around.
