So I tried to invite my friend to Ushi, and she got an account.
Actually, she got three. Only on the first one, she accidentally indicated that she was under 13, and ever since then, the accounts are being banned. They're all on different emails, but she suspects that the admins are noticing the same IP address in each one and thinking it's some dumb kid trying to get past the age limit. Am I on the mark so far?
So her latest account uses her college email. So say someone (one of the admins) did a search for the name in that email on the college website, found a real person, and connected it to all of those accounts by the IP address. Do you think that would that be enough evidence to lift the ban(s)?

That is totally not even possible. I don't even waste my time associating email addresses with real first/last names.Shaudo wrote:

I mean the name in the email. Like "thingy" out of thingy@whatsit.com.
I've already advised my friend to send in the paperwork. Had a sneaking suspicion that this wouldn't work out. Thanks for the prompt answer, Cher.
EDIT: (That said, I'm finding that email right now. I haven't had any trouble on this site and really wasn't sure how to go about finding help.)
