In the User Control Panel, find the section that says "Edit Signature". Then, just enter whatever you want your sig to be in the field. Please note that if it's too big, it won't all show up.

Here is a detailed guide about signatures and avatars on this site. It tells you the max length/width for a signature, and also provides some sites where you can make your own (I think).

Also, it seems signatures and avatars aren't working now, so they won't show up anyway :c
