Recycled Music?

I was curious how everyone felt that sound of the sound effects and music have been recycled (like the event music and such). I am sort of torn; on the one hand I generally don't mind, but on the other, I really can't stand the heart event tune from IoH/SI, so hearing it again is kind of killer for me....

I really disliked the happy-go-me theme. That wasn't romantic at all. Da-da-da-da-da-da-daaa!!! Ughhh...

I agree with Fretka, I kinda freaked out when I realized they recycled THAT song. I hate it. It's not even lovey dovey at all. I suppose I'll just have to turn the volume down during heart events or just ignore it.

I thought it was great at first, okay later, then...*shrugs*...Only half the time I listen to it anyway. I'd call the reason the 'paranoid-mommy-always worrying syndrome'.

But yeah, I see your point.

I'm really not happy at all that Freya has the boy theme for heart events. Kinda bums me out because I'll keep thinking I'm doing a guy's heart events when I'm trying to marry her >.>

Generally, I play with the sound off anyways, save for hearing the songs for the first time, so nothings really going to bother me too much about it. ^^

The greatness of the opening song is enough that I don't mind the rest of the music (even though it's a remake of a Christmas carol and I generally loathe such things). Plus, I like the heart theme from Sunshine Islands. /shunned

For some reason, this music would sound good in the fall if there was like a dance or something. I like the theme though, it's pretty cool

EDIT: Found some cool music

It seems like when you have a party or anniversary, the "finding of a sunstone" music from Sunshine Islands will replace the usual heart event music. I don't mind really though, I liked that music! xD

Yeah I'm a little disappointed as well. We now have 3 games with the same heart event music. I didn't mind it in SI since I barely heard it in IoH and but after playing SI and seeing tons of heart events the ladies love me, I got a little tired of it. I especially dispise the heart event for the bachelors. Like you all said, it's not romantic at all.

I wouldn't mind if they remade the music like they did for some of the music in HMDS/HMDSC but to just use the same exact music for 3 games in a row...O_o

Well, in TV we don't hear it anymore. Marvelous understood it was not a good heart event theme :)

BTW, in GB the last heart event has a different (new) theme.

Oh really? Good, gives me something to look forward to when I woo Freya xD Don't want to spoil myself listening to it, unless it was that Sunstone music I already heard xD
