Why is that confusing? Unless you're getting the game confused with another HM. She's talking about Magical Melody.

They could have never played the GCN version of MM, and have the Wii version of it, which only allows you to play as a boy.

it happened to me too. I was married to marlin and i was in year 3 and i got a daughter Serena and i had 72 sprites then i started to play in my second file while playing i accidentally save on my first file T-T...noooooooooooo T_T!

i was once in the mine looking for jewllrey when i a ccsedently it was half way through saving,so i turned it off(oops) and the save file got deleted,i was so far,i had muffy on orange,35 spirets,all my animals had one heart,all my tools where on Lv. 7 i had so much money and coins and on the 3rd mine,i was nealy crying :(

that's why i have a little piece of paper taped to the front of my DSi that tells me which file is which. i really recomend doing that if your planning on have two files. the constant reminder is really helpful.

and it's a cheap way to do so. ;)

This just happened to me,i had a glitch in the winter and my save file from the night before got corrupted he only one that worked was the morning after the storm and i ended up losing my maker shed with all the makers and my basement.

tht happened to me too.... but for some reason whenever i get really far on the first diary it freezes and wont load.... stupid glitches

I let my little sister play my game of FoMT once =A=

I didn't want her to mess up my farm so I started a new game for her, and when I get it back what do I see? She's accidentally pressed the save button and written over my file with the empty game she's started. T_T

That was a while ago now, and since I've gotten DS I haven't let her touch it because the scars still run deep *dramatic swoon*

I know how you feel. That happened to me not in this game but in Harvest Moon Friends of Mineral Town. Wasn't paying attention and deleted my best file ever. I was on year 52 and just got that Mountain House from my wife two years earlier. Man, I was not happy.
