I acidentally saved over my file. I had 58 sprites, Leia at a red heart, 3 chicken sheds... argh Well, I started over, and now I'm gonna marry Nami. So yeah.

That sucks. I've done that. I had like 45 sprites and a red heart with Celia. I was so irritated with myself. Now I play Cute and have 55 sprites and have all the bachelors at blue or green. Now I use both files for the same farm so that I don't tempt fate.

that hasnt happened to me yet but i just saved over the new file i was gonna keep, just to be on the safe side.Is better to wait until you finish the game or just get another copy.

UGH that happened to me too! I was married to Muffy and I had like 80 sprites! T.T So saaad

This is exactly why I only have one file that I save on both Diarys. Ever since what happened to me in MFoMT, I never wanted to have 2 files in the same game, if it offered only 2 save files.

That sucks. D: I'm sorry you saved over your file. I agree with Addict, it's safer if you have the same game in both of your files.

I did the same thing. I had like 40 sprite and Muffy at a red heart >_> that was 2 years ago but now my game is married to Leia and our son Casper was just born (I got the red head, nami's kid) and yes now I use both files for my one game XD

I wish they had made it so it wouldn't let you save over it so easily. It super sucked.

I also did that on Magical Melody. I was married to Alex and had a kid on the way but then saved over it. ARGGGH. it was my only non-sucky MM file too.

I once saved over a file. I don't remember what I did after that but it did involve loud shouting. =/ My DS did go untouched for a while. Then I think my game card went missing.

Thats what happened to me, except I was foolish enough to switch it off while it was saving >.<
But now I play IOH mostly, which wont let you save over your other file.

oh...then that...stinks. I would hate to share my HM games. I'd be hovering over them whenver they played to make sure they didn't save over my file. Thankfully I have older siblings. You should just buy another copy for yourself. They're not THAT expensive now. But I dunno, it might be a waste. Usually these kinda things make you extra careful but it's still pretty easy to accidentally save over a file. Well least HM is improving with saving. Mishaps like this can no longer happen now. Well it could if you chose to start a new game over a file. But nothing would happen until you actually saved which you'd be able to see what you're about to save over.

Why is that confusing? Unless you're getting the game confused with another HM. She's talking about Magical Melody.
