HARVEST MOON SHOULD ALLOW SAME-S.E.X MARRIAGES

I wish they would, but they probably won't. I'd love to be able to swing both ways, honestly. I don't know, in AP, I was playing as a girl and badly wanted to date a few of the girls. [Yes, sexy beach dancing can do that. lol] Buuut I didn't want to make a boy file so poo. Somebody needs to pick one of the older ones [FoMT would do nicely] and hack the sprites and pronouns, just so we'd have ONE that was For Gay. XD

I'm not saying that a HM game with the option will influence all kids to be gay. Obviously if you're straight then the kid will know he likes girls and will chose a girl to marry. Sexuality isn't a choice. You can't just chose who you want to like, it's something you're born with. There's nothing wrong with liking the same « Chicken Hugging ». I'm just saying that it's not fair how there's hardly any video games, tv shows, movies, or even commercials with any homosexuality. I mean look around. there are billboards and magazines and films with all heterosexual people. Imagine being in a world where homosexuals were dominant and you are raised in a place where you are pretty much the only kid your age who likes the opposite s.e.x and everywhere you turn there are only homosexual things. You'd feel kinda out of place, huh? Well, that's how all the homosexuals feel. It's almost 2011 and there still hasn't been much change but I know that if people keep fighting, then there will be equality for everyone. I mean, our country got over racism and slavery so it's time to get over prejudice against gays.
In jp version of DSCute you were able to marry one of the special bachelorettes. Natsume removed it from US version and they changed some lines. For example, in the jp version Leia was saying:
"I'm thinking about you a lot... I don't know why..."
and in US version she says innocent:
"You are my best friend"
Sadly, Natsume is a company which releases ALL HM games, so even if we have same-sex marriages in the jp game, the option will be kicked out from the english copy.

i'm neither for nor againt it if they EVER did that. i'm not 'wavy' myself but i have a lot of friends that would like the feature. it's what has stopped them from picking up the HM games. i think (in all fairness) that it should be allowed. or at least at the beginning of the game you could chose to have the marragible canidates swing your way if you want too. (like and 'off' or 'on' feature)
