No Pause in GB?

What? Oh my gosh?! There's no pause in GB? Not even to pause the game for a second? What if I have to sneeze??
Am I missing something? (help pretty please)

Currently I assume I'll have to go to bed, then save/sleep, then turn off ds.

Yeah I heard time only stops if you talk to someone or click on cupboard.

it will pause if you close the DS as well. That's all I've found.

Unfortunately, that's not an option for me. My DS sometimes shuts off when I put it sleep mode.

What they probably mean is keep it and then sell it at Raul's Shop. They can be sold so that you can get so Fertilizer to increase the quality of your crops. I was able to make a Turnip 1 1/2 star quality and cooked it into a 2 star quality Turnip Salad. After the first Bazaar, I only had 30G left. I used bugs to get the money in order to get more fertilizer. They sell for a minimum of 10G, the price of one fertilizer, at Raul's Shop. It is useful in the beginning to keep them and then sell them to Raul at least.
