well, after hours of reading the forum, here's some tips I found that might help :D
I manage to get 80.000G on my 1st year third week summer bazaar without the jump-the-river-to-get-gold trick. I never got gold when I jump :((

- fish A LOT at the fishing spot below Raul's shop. You'll get a lot of dark sleeper and silver goby that you can cook into fish stew that sold for 500g each. you need a pot first though.

- I tend to plant a lot. using 2 field to maximum so on each bazaar I manage to harvest and sell around 72 crops (in spring you can even get more than 100 with turnips because of their quick growth :D). This will sell more as seeds if you unlock the 3rd windmill.

- Make pudding out of your milks and eggs, or hot milk for milk. mayonnaise and cheeses don't give you profit at all :(

- Turn weeds and branch to fertilizer instead of selling it as it is. You'll be more likely to get high stars crop with your own fertilizer.

A friend clued me in for a goldmine you can work out when the Fall Windmill opens.
It made the game too easy so I only did it once but here it is if no one has said it yet:

-After the Last Windmill opens up, go buy 60 fertilizer and 60 fodder from Raul.
-Go to the windmill right below your farm and make 6 stacks of 10 grass seed.
-It takes anywhere from 2-4 days to finish but usually ends at 3 or less. Blow on the windmill. It's scientifically proven that blowing on an object 100 times larger than you makes it move faster.
-You have 120 grass seed that can easily get you to 60k or more if you just sit there and sell it from 10am to closing.
You can sell other things too, but in your first winter, if you cant find gems in the ore rocks that show up, it's a stellar seller.

oh yes the grass seeds help ALOT! i do recommed it. (245,067 gold so far is what i've got in my account right now...... i'm gonna buy a BUNCH of wheat in a few in-game days. XP)

i'm been able to make my goal and now i'm touching the 75% marker!!! sigh, i hate that you have to make it so many times before it will level..... sigh.

but i love this game. this might be the best one so far... for me.... (no shipping box, no shipping box~ yay)

yea, I actually LOVES the simplicity of the game. A house with a kitchen at the start of the game?

Nothing beats that xD

As far as jumping into the river goes, utilize your bath and restroom. You can take a new bath every 3 hours... same with restroom, it will up your stamina a little over 1/3 of your max. I usually plan all my other activities around this timeframe.
You can also work safely up to 5am... but if you hit the 5am mark without sleeping it will automatically bump you to 6am without the option to save (saving is a big thing to me). You get no hit on stamina, you dont lose a day and no sickness.

As for Bazaar tips go: ring your bell like crazy and only stop to replenish your supplies or when a customer comes up with a number or talking icon. It takes a bit to get the timing right but it works.
Also is recommended to stop selling around 6pm so you have an hour to do your buying of stuff yourself (the crowd visibly thins out at this time too so its good in that way as well).

The crowd is also is thin, I have noticed, in the first hour or two, but some shops open later: not all, but some.

nice tips!
try to manage your stocks depending on the people interested on your items.
like child=bugs and sweets, oldies=food,fish, woman=flowers or else they will turn away.

i'll do that fodder thing once i unlocked that windmill. im on my 1st yr summer.

I hate seeing men in the Bazaar when I have my shop open, they never buy produce. Like 10 crowd around my shop I keep ringing my bell they keep coming back and "..."ing...

women, gardeners, old men, and babies usually are the money pots, babies always buy like 5 each of my eggs, women will buy crops or milk from me old men like my grilled fish gardeners only buy crops from me.
