That's because it's the official website. It just explains what's new in this Harvest Moon n such. Rhea pretty much explains it in her General Guide.

To tell the truth, getting the HM:TV in the Japanese is not hard at all...

As I said, I live in Korea and my country is right next to Japan and there are lot of people who can speak Japanese...

Thanks to that, most of the pretty big game shops have this Japanese section (Which has most of the newly released games in Japan...).

Besides, I can read Hiragana, Katakana (but just reading,,, that's it...) and most of the Chinese characters (Kanji) since we also use the Chinese characters in our own language...

However, it is just bugging me that I cannot fully understand what they are saying....

Maybe I'm too used to playing games that I fully understand....

Well... I know that there are people plays this game in a way worse condition than mine.

I also know that I should feel lucky compared to those ones...

However, I'd be happy if Natsume released this game in English, so that I can understand much better

and it will be even better if MMV releases HM:TV in Korean,,,,
(Eh.... I don't think it will ever happen... as I said they just released HM:Island of Happiness.... Phew...)

I got GrB about two weeks ago but I'm guessing November 2011 or late December 2011 sounds good to me. Maybe even early 2012 I really don't know I'm just kind of spit balling here :p

TV looks so amazing, i already know quite a few words in hiragana and katakana, and a little kanji, though my mom could probably play the game if its mostly in kanji, since she can read chinese, which is almost the same as japanese... too bad she never taught me... I wonder if i should order it.

I'd like very much to order this game. Stupid imports... Anyway, about how long would it take (just a general guess) to learn enough japanese to understand the game? I know very, very basic words but only in Romaji and I can't read kana at all. =/

I think it depends on the person and what kind of learning environment you have. I think in a college-level course, you might learn enough in a semester to just barely inch along in the game. I think I was able to play HMDS Cute when it came out in Japanese after I had been taking Japanese in high school for a year or two. However, I had been playing HMDS and already knew the basic controls, and had a translation guide to boot.

TD;LR, I think you'd probably need to AT LEAST know your kana and a handful of kanji for the minimum playing experience, plus some sort of supplemental material (Rhea's and satoshi's guides come to mind).

I really wish Natsume could be like they were back in the day...releasing HM within the same year of the japanese release.

It would take longer for OP-mun longer to learn Japanese before the English version came around, but if s/he starts now they'll know Japanese some time along the road and be able to get games sooner rather then thinking, "Damn I could already be 1/2 years into learning Japanese!" By the time the next game comes around then, "Damn I could have been 2/3 years into learning Japanese!" and it just gets longer and longer. xP

Well I estimate Twin Villages will come out next year. They have no other HM games to translate now and well... Harvest Moon is Natsume's cash cow.

yeah...2012 will also be my last year in high school...unless I take grade 13...so I hope I can find the time to play it when it finally comes out I am not really impatient...I just wanted to say that I think it looks good and I cant wait for it to come out

Since the 3DS is about to come out (5 months!) I'd say Natsume'll work on it soon and maybe we'll have it by next year. That's what I think and hoping for. I say a late 2011 release.

I really don't mind if it takes until 2012 to get this in English; as long as they take the time to translate/localize things properly to avoid errors and glitches, then I'd be glad to wait extra time.

My money is on that'll be over here around late spring to mid summer of 2011. Especially since Natsume really won't have anything else to work on HM/RF-wise once RF3 is released...which will be in November.
