I just thought of the funniest thing to me. You know how you can jump in the river and find gold and a tea can? Soemthing just hit me.
One finding gold in a river is like the gold rush.
And tea in a river like the boston tea party xD
I'm suck a dork xD

Did you catch the I Love Lucy reference? :D
That was just freaking brilliant, in my opinion.
Ricky: "Lucy! You've got some 'splaining to do!"

I caught the gold rush thing, but not the tea one. This history buff is shamed. :(

:O I remember when I used to watch that show with my dad on TV land. Well my dad likes to watch TV land and I didn't really care what I watched when I was little.

I think the thing about gold and tea is just random since I doubt the creators would care enough to satisfy the American audience with American history.
And for the Lucy and & Ricky thing Natsume probably put that in. I'm suspecting it was originally supposed to be manzai (a type of japanese comedy) or a phrase from an old show.
/cockblock :'D

Did anyone realize that Issac, Wilbur, and their wives are dressed like pilgrims, possibly western pioneers?

You never know, though, the Boston Teaparty is a famous event the world over, iirc, so that one I can very much see happening. Plus many people from other countries came to the US for the gold rush; so it affected lots of places.
But it does seem a bit vague. Whether intentional or not, it's still an awesome reference!
