Can Cats/Dogs grow old and die?

How does one upgrade the trough (spelling?)

And can you put trees in the basement?

Any other note worthy challenges after marriage?

Thanks :)

1) no cats and dogs do not die so you're pretty much stuck with the ones you have so if you have already met the limit of dogs or the limit of cats and want a different one, you're out of luck

2) You need to have 10 cows/sheep and you'll be able to get the upgrade from Wilbur (I think it's Wilbur)

3) I think you can put trees in your basement but I'm not really sure.

4) I'm not married yet but marriage is a little boring in this game.

Same goes for Chickens i'm assuming?

Alright, thanks.

And does your spouse give you a meal each day?

1+2 are correct. I'm not sure about number 3, either. I don't think there is anything special after marriage, either.

EDIT: Also, in number 2, you are correct about Wilbur doing the upgrade for the Trough.

nah, Chickens die along with cows and sheeps. And no, you don't get a meal from your spouse.
