So I've been poking around the game a bit. My Japanese is limited, but is the board the mayor shows you like the request board from Rune Factory 2 & 3? If so it sees a good addition, although it means I will have to do more translating than I originally thought. XD

Thanks!

I can't tell you much from the RF perspective, but think of most of the things on the request board as optional mini-quests. There are of course special quests to get one-of-a-kind items like tools and clothing, plus house upgrades, but other than that the requests are mainly there to use the fruits of your labor to get some (sometimes) nice rewards. I think I remember seeing something about there being a friendship bonus for completed requests, too.

One thing the request board is good for is obtaining out-of-season or hard to get items. If you're in Konohana and haven't gotten the makers, for example, some of the Bluebell residents offer butter as a reward. Requests are also a handy way to get high-level seeds. The higher the quality of the items you use to complete the requests, the higher the quality of the items you receive as a reward.

Hmmm. It sounds a lot like the RF one then. Thanks for the confirmation! I really appreciate it!

Melody, the quests from TV aren't even close to being as cool as the quests from RF2/3. Sorry for saying this but they are boring. First you can find them fun and interesting but later you feel tired of them and you even don't make them.

The characters usually ask you for finding some stuff, for cooked dishies or for delivering your dishies/stuff to someone. 85% of them is about bringing some stuff to them. For example:

Boiled egg - 4
Milk - 5
or
Chibi blah blah fish - 3
Omelet - 2

Sometimes you can get the special orange requests, where villagers ask you for help with watering/harvesting crops or brushing/milking animals, but they are usually very rare.

Awe. Well thanks for the information. I still think it's a nice addition, even if they are boring. :D Besides, I remember running around delivering stuff all the time in RF2.... I felt like such a delivery boy...
