Ignore this. I went to EBgames.com and found out.

I don't see how you figure.mrscientific13 wrote:No it can be summed up as « Puppy Doodoo ».
There's all this bashing of the PSP because it has mediocre battery life, but when you consider its power and just watch some videos or see some screenshots of its fully-3D graphics and impressive feature set, it seems insignificant. In terms of the game lineup (and certainly the graphics), the DS just pales in comparison. I'll probably have to end up getting both systems, but the PSP certainly has the #1 spot in my book right now.

Pale? Covert, the only game I've seen on the PSP that actually looks good is Tales of Eternia. Nothing else.Covert wrote:I don't see how you figure.mrscientific13 wrote:No it can be summed up as « Puppy Doodoo ».

Right now, I personally don't think either system is that great. I have a DS and the actuall hardware is really good, but the games aren't that great. Same goes for PSP. But after looking at some of the games that are going to be releases in the future, both systems look great! If I had to chose one to have it would probably be the DS mostly because of Harvest Moon and Animal Crossing, but despite the low battery life PSP is starting to look pretty good too.
Well the low battery life wasn't that much of a concern to me because the battery life of the DS isn't really that impressive. My big concern is the square button issue. The last thing I want when playing is a quirky button that is only going to work half the time. My other big pet peeve is Sony not offering the base pack at launch. Rather than the cheaper $185 for the basic PSP, they opted to force everyone to pay $250 for a bunch of junk.
I just don't like Sony's screw you attitude on the square button "There may be people that complain about its usability, but that's something which users and game software developers will have to adapt to". That and the fact that they're forcing a bunch of over-priced extras onto North American consumers made me decide against getting a PSP at launch.
