I think I get it xP
They don't seem like children, but they're not at the point where they seem like real, mature men. They're kinda boy-ish in nature, without being little boys. Yah? :]

I really do think the marriage candidates are aimed at younger people. That or those are just the type of characters people go for in Japan XD. Because most of them seem pretty irresponsible and kind of childish in one way or another.

I mean Azel and Sonia are the main characters and neither of them seem ready to be married and start a family. At least from what I know about their personality. It just seems unrealistic that these marriages would work out if it wasn't a video game .

I'm glad it's not realistic in that sense though... Can you imagine having to realistically woo some of these women/men? D: D: D: D:

Who wants that :?? Video games are always great in they way realisticness doesn't matter .

But that is just what I mean by irresponsible and childish. They don't seem like they'd be ready for a serious relationship. But it's not like it matters. Since it all works out anyways, the game makers say so .

Besides then you wouldn't be able to get married by just throwing a gift at someone and ignoring them for the rest of the day XD.

I do that. I always woo everyone so I don't have time to stalk so many people at once. So I speak with them once give em' a gift and move on to the next girl/boy.

Plus my farm needs me! And those dungeons aren't gonna explore themselves .

Yeah, those farms and dungeons. @.@
I woo everyone, too, but I always stalk my favorite characters when I have time. :T
I feel a little superficial already having favorites, but I'm sure they'll shift when I get the game. C:

I'll be superficial! Actually my current favorites are not the ones I think are the best looking. Too bad . Not really.

None one is good enough to be stalked by the main character! Not even my personal favorites. Hmm I think that's why I like Azel so much. I always super love the main character. Because come one, he/she is amazing and everyone else in that game is just lucky to know him/her/them!

But my likes and dislikes always change at least somewhat after playing the game.

Hm, that's true. They have the most room for improvement. C:
I felt bad though, when I trumped everyone with my skills in Frontier. :T

My current favorites are people who I think look good and have appealing (Or they sound appealing) personallities. I guess maybe I just get lucky. Or maybe, it's that their looks grow on me. :)

Like, they don't look like kids for the most part to me, but I think I unconciously trained myself to do that. xD
They don't however, look like actual men. I'm not sure how to put it without making it sound like I'm contradicting myself. :D
Heh heh.....

Hmm I don't remember saying any of that .

Just kidding, but you messed up the quoting if you didn't get my joke :P.

Anyways the main characters are almost always the best character in the whole game.

For an example of where the best character was not the main character, just look at my avatar XD. Those main characters were dummies. But awesome NPCs made up for it.
